What is 1st Saturday?
1st Saturday is a seasonal, monthly music event set in Salisbury’s Downtown that aims to provide a free, family-friendly experience for locals while also promoting local business, tourism growth, and community involvement through music and celebration. Our season begins in April and ends in October. It is 1st Saturday’s mission to provide a Placemaking event that brings people from all walks of life together and encourages revitalization in the heart of our city. 1st Saturday is an all-volunteer effort, a Downtown economic development initiative, and a project of the Salisbury Arts & Entertainment District Committee.
